You’re Invited · Black Tie
Join us for an evening of music, dinner and dancing, as we celebrate Caroline’s 50th & Geoff’s continued mastery of the decades.
Saturday 10 October 2026
Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa · Surrey
We’ll also be raising a glass, and some funds, for Oesophagoose, in memory of Judy.
Glad rags on. There will be dancing.
There’s a cash bar in the room all night, so bring a card for anything after the welcome glass.
“This is our way of saying thank you, and helping others in her name.”
During the evening we’ll hold a silent auction for Oesophagoose, in recognition of the care and support they gave our Judy in the years before she died.
Whatever we raise goes to their work on oesophageal and gastric cancer: the awareness, and the research behind catching it earlier. Bid generously. Judy would have.
No presents, please. Your being there is the gift. If you’d like to mark the occasion, a donation to Oesophagoose in Judy’s memory would mean the world to us.
A lot of you are travelling. Stay over, have a proper drink, and don’t think about the drive home. A few good options nearby, in and around Haslemere.
Rooms are bookable directly with the hotel, with an after-hours residents’ bar once the party winds down. Stay here and you’re ten seconds from your bed when the band stops.

01428 787222If you’re around the night before, come for a drink on the Friday evening. Nothing formal. Just a chance to see each other before the madness of Saturday. Drinks will be at Lythe Hill, so if you’re staying over you’ve barely any distance to go. We’ll confirm the time.
Say yes in your RSVP and we’ll send the details closer to the time.
The auction is only as good as its lots. This is where you come in.
Got something worth bidding on? A weekend at your place, a case of good wine, tickets to something, a skill, a favour, that thing in the loft someone else would love. If it’ll tempt a bid, we want it. It all goes to Oesophagoose, in Judy’s name. There’s a box on the RSVP form to tell us.
We’d dearly love you to be there. An early yes helps us plan, so do let us know. It takes a minute.
You can tell us your party size, dietary needs, whether you’ll join us on the Friday, and offer an auction lot, all in one place.
